Drug Relapse & Relapse Prevention
The main reason for relapsing after traditional detox methods are because the person is in physical pain and/or they still have cravings for drugs. With our method the individual is not in physical pain or discomfort and clients comment they have little or no craving for drugs hence our relapse rate are very low. Psychologically, most clients adjust very quickly leaving drugs or alcohol behind and moving on with their lives whilst reconnecting with family, friends and society. Clients can return to a productive life in a matter of days and eliminate the need to spend months in and out of hospitals or rehabilitation programs. However, addiction can be a relapsing disorder, if individuals relapse after treatment they simply return for further top up treatments. Click here for the warning signs.
What is the Addiction Challenge?
It is to improve patient treatment options and establish which method of treatment is the most efficacious with the best patient outcomes. We welcome ANY challenge to test our treatment methods against any 'evidence based clinical method' NHS treatment for smoking, alcohol or drugs because they do not work. The test would be carried out over 10 days at the end of that period the individual would be dependence free and not reliant on any replacement medication. The NHS challenge has been in effect since January 2007 and no clinician, GP, scientist or medical professional has come forward to take part. Annually the NHS spend £1.5billion on drug, alcohol and smoking treatments which 'do not work, have poor outcomes and bad results' this is wasteful and irresponsible at any time, even more so in the current economic climate.
